In anticipation of the Christmas holidays, the Bucim and Borov Dol mines, in collaboration with the Red Cross and the Municipality of Radovish, organized a humanitarian initiative to support the local community. Food packages containing essential products were donated to 100 families in social risk.
Through this initiative, essential food products were provided to the most vulnerable categories of citizens. With logistical support from the Municipality of Radovish and the Red Cross, the food packages were distributed to families in Radovish, Konche, and surrounding areas, with special attention to those most affected by social and economic challenges.
“Christmas is a time for solidarity, humanity, and togetherness. Through this action, we aim to demonstrate that everyone can contribute to improving the lives of others and that together we can create a better society,” stated Kristina Krsteva, Deputy Manager for Social Development of the Bucim and Borov Dol mines.
The Municipality of Radovish highlighted the importance of such actions, which play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for the local population. The Red Cross, as a long-term partner in the humanitarian activities of Bucim and Borov Dol mines, ensured that the donation was distributed efficiently and transparently to those in greatest need.
