As part of its commitment to sustainable operations and building a responsible society, the company organized a unique eco-educational workshop in collaboration with the public kindergarten “Aco Karamanov” in Radovish. On July 18, 2025, under the open sky and in a cheerful atmosphere, the kindergarten yard was transformed into a green oasis where the youngest – the children – together with their teachers and company representatives, engaged in learning and building the foundations for a more responsible and environmentally conscious future.
The workshop aimed to foster environmental awareness from an early age through creative and interactive activities – crafting decorative figures from recycled materials, planting flowers, and participating in educational games. In a fun and engaging way, the children were introduced to the basic principles of nature protection, recycling, and the importance of collective action.
“We believe that long-term environmental sustainability begins with education and the nurturing of values from an early age. Through initiatives like this, we send a clear message that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility – of companies, families, and every individual,” said Marina Saneva, Head of the Environmental Protection Department at Borov Dol.
The event was made possible through the joint efforts of the company’s team and the dedication of the kindergarten staff, once again confirming the strength of cooperation between industry and the local community.
