Bucim once again took part in the Superior Runs Štip Marathon 2026, reaffirming its commitment to investing in employee health, well-being, and development as an integral part of its sustainable operations.
In 2026, the number of participants from the mine increased by 33%—from 15 to 20 employees—representing a clear indicator of growing engagement and the development of a positive organizational culture. This trend also reflects increased awareness among employees of the importance of physical activity, team spirit, and personal development.
In addition to higher participation, the Bucim team recorded a notable improvement in performance. The men’s team in the 5 km category advanced by 10 positions (from 23rd to 13th place), while the women’s team also improved its ranking. At the same time, the top four male participants improved their total time by 9 minutes and 36 seconds, while the top four female participants achieved an improvement of 8 minutes and 23 seconds compared to the previous year.
These results reflect a continuous commitment to strengthening team spirit, mutual support, and motivation, as well as ongoing investment in employee development. The company will continue to encourage participation in activities that contribute to well-being and the creation of a positive working environment.
